A special class and experience to be creative together and sew together lasting memories.

What will you learn?

Session 1: Get to know the sewing machine and make a lovely tote bag perfect for beach visits.

Session 2: Step up the your bag-making game and learn to make a drawstring back-pack for your swim/sports gear.

Session 3: Sew a soft toy together and make the cutest monster. If you'd like to add a special memory, you could bring old school uniforms or your (grand)dad's old shirt to make it a special Memory Monster.

During the workshop, you will learn how to sew straight lines, curves, and we will also cover the basics of hemming. We will cut the fabric for projects (day 1 & 2) if time allows, you will cut your own pieces for the monster. Kids get familiar with small pressing tasks using a smaller iron under careful supervision.

Already completed our beginner projects? No worries, we will have a pattern and fabric ready to make matching PJ pants. Please email us if you have already completed the beginner projects so we can share fabric options for your PJ pants.

All materials are included and you just have to bring yourself.
