Maria discovered sewing while living on a small island in Malaysia in 2015 and quickly fell in love with making her own clothes. What began as a creative escape from corporate life eventually grew into ThreadWerk, where she now shares her passion for sewing with others.

Jenny has loved crafting from a young age, learning sewing, embroidery, knitting, and hand stitching early on. After moving to Dubai, she became part of the local craft community and now enjoys teaching others the joy and fulfilment of creating by hand.

Originally a nurse with 15 years of healthcare experience, Sarah discovered crochet while living in Hong Kong and quickly fell in love with the craft. She now teaches crochet full time, helping others find creativity, confidence, and calm through handmade projects.

After over a decade in Dubai’s fashion retail industry, Yodit rediscovered her creativity through sewing and later earned a Fashion Design Diploma. She loves garment making, pattern cutting, crochet, and sharing her passion for handmade crafts with others.

Aswati discovered crochet during a period of personal transition after being inspired by a simple crocheted bee video. What began as curiosity grew into a passion for amigurumi, pattern design, and the calming joy of creating by hand.

Jennifer’s love for sewing began in childhood, inspired by watching her mother create beautiful handmade pieces. With over 30 years of sewing experience, she enjoys sharing the joy of sewing, crochet, and handmade crafts while helping others create with confidence and creativity.

Formerly working in law, Polina discovered sewing just before Covid and quickly fell in love with creating handmade clothing and accessories. She enjoys working with beautiful fabrics, learning new techniques, and sharing her passion for sewing with others.

Riva began her fibre arts journey during university through embroidery before later discovering crochet and sewing. She loves creating unique clothing and accessories while encouraging others to explore creativity and build confidence through handmade crafts.

Talia discovered crochet while studying psychology at university and quickly became “hooked” on the craft. Inspired by her great grandmother’s handmade pieces, she loves creating mindful, creative projects and sharing the joy of crochet with others.
