In this confident beginner to intermediate workshop for kids.
Confident Beginner can choose between craft project to make gifts for their family & friends; or join in and wrok on two dressmaking projects.
Craft Sewing projects: quilted heat mat, bow-tie, stocking, skirt/waist apron and Hedwig the owl.
Dressmaking projects: full-size apron and PJ bottoms.
Intermediate/Advanced skill level can make their own Festive party dress.
PS: all these projects can be made with non-festive fabrics.
What is included in the course? And what do I have to bring?
All materials are included and you just have to bring yourself. If you have a special fabric for your Christmas frock, please feel free to bring your own. We recommend bringing Cotton fabrics. You are welcome to bring your own machine too but we have machines for everyone to use.
Level: Confident Beginner & Intermediate
- have used a sewing machine before
- can pin fabric - can thread a sewing machine
- can sew straight lines and follow a seam allowance
- made projects such as tote bags, pouches and scrunchies
Course Length: 4 sessions of 2 hours
