What will you learn?

In the first session, we will trace the pattern and cut our fabric. We will also be able to make a start on the pleats.

In the second session, we will continue with the construction of the legs and bodice pieces.

What is included in the course? And what do I have to bring?

We will be using the Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory Patterns. You'll get to take the pattern home to replicate the jumpsuit as many times as you like. You will trace of the pattern and tracing paper is included. 

Please bring fabric and matching thread. The pattern is designed for woven, medium weight fabrics like cotton and linen. It would look great in a fabric that has a draped quality such as crepe, viscose, twill or satin. Depending on your pattern size, pattern version and fabric width, you might need 2,5 to 5m of fabric. To be sure, feel free to message us.

Level: Intermediate 

• have used a sewing machine before

• can cut or pin fabric

• can thread a sewing machine

• can sew straight lines and follow different seam allowances

• made projects such as pillow cases, tote bags and zipped pouches, and sewed a skirt and PJ bottoms for themselves or others

• understands how to use a paper pattern
