Dip your toes into your first dressmaking project and learn how to make a pair of PJ bottoms.

What will you learn?

In the first session, learn how to measure yourself and trace the pieces required for the PJ bottoms of the pattern. We will also cut the fabric and start with the construction of the pockets.

In the second session, you will continue with the construction and learn how to attach the waistband, hem your PJs and insert an elastic.

What is included in the course? And what do I have to bring?

We will be using the our Everyday PJ pattern - you will get to keep the traced pattern to make it again. We will also share the PDF file with you. The pattern is available in kids, ladies and men's sizes. If you are planning to make this project for someone else, please let us know (incl their height) so we can prepare the class.

You will trace of the pattern and tracing paper is included as well as elastic. We have also included the fabric for this project into the course fee. Please choose from one of the following fabrics, and let us know if you'd like to make the shorts or long pyjamas.

Level: Confident Beginner

• have used a sewing machine before
• can cut or pin fabric
• can thread a sewing machine
• can sew straight lines and follow a seam allowance
• made projects such as pillow cases and tote bags

Course Length: 2 sessions of 3 hours 

Price: AED 900 per person (including fabric and the sewing pattern)
