Get a first feel of hand-embroidery and pimp your clothes by adding small designs of embroidery to your favourite garments. This workshop is also great to mend any holes with beautiful designs to give your old garment and new look. If you don't like to use one of your clothes, we can provide you with a piece of cotton fabric to practice your embroidery stitches.
What will you learn?
If you are new to hand embroidery, you will learn the 5 most common embroidery stitches: Stem stitch, Lazy daisy, French knot, Split stitch and Satin stitch. We will also show you how to transfer your designs onto your garment.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is suitable for adults who are complete Beginners.
What is included in the course? And what do I have to bring?
All materials and the embroidery hoop are included (for our beginners) and you just have to bring yourself and your favourite garment. In case you won't be able to finish your design, you will be able to take the hoop and any necessary threads with you. If you have a project in mind, please bring your hoop - we have embroidery threads for you.
